TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – A man reportedly choked his girlfriend during a fight at a Tarrytown restaurant's bar, Tarrytown police said.
Michael Puchalski, 27, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, a misdemeanor.
Police responded to the TGI Friday's around 5 p.m. Jan. 3 after an altercation was reported by the girlfriend.
Paramedics were called after the man complained of chest pain and he was taken to Phelps Memorial Hospital. The man arrived at police headquarters for processing about two hours later.
Police also reported the following:
- Police arrested Mitchel Golden, 23, Jan. 3 on a charge of third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
- Police arrested Justin Moehringer, 25, and Juan Urena, 23, Jan. 2 on charges of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree loitering, both misdemeanors, outside Walgreens.
- Paramedics aided a Carrollwood Drive resident who had been stuck in a bathtub for more than 24 hours at around 3 p.m. New Year's Day after a friend requested police check on her welfare.
- Police arrested Gary Moore, 38, on a charge of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, all misdemeanors, after someone reported a cell phone had been stolen at Walgreens around 9 p.m. Dec. 31.
