Police Issue 72 Tickets In Route 9 Detail

CORTLANDT, N.Y. – State police issued 72 tickets in a recent Saturday morning detail along Route 9 in Cortlandt.

The detail, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., was designed to enforce local speed laws.

Forty-two tickets were issued for speeding, 29 were issued for other vehicle and traffic infractions and one ticket was given for a cell phone violation.
