Police Bust Out-Of-Stater Attempting To Steal Package In Bronxville

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - A man from Las Vegas was arrested in Bronxville after he allegedly trespassed in the village and attempted to steal a package from a village home.

Police were dispatched to Kensington Road on Aug. 5, when a homeowner alerted authorities that a man had been at her home and attempted to pick up a package that had been delivered.

Following an investigation, it was determined that the homeowner had rejected the package and 25-year-old Maximo Almanzar had attempted to take it as part of a fraudulent transaction. He was arrested and charged with trespassing. He is due back in court later this year.
