TARRYTOWN, N.Y. A motorist was charged with driving while intoxicated and ended up in the hospital after getting into an accident at a Tarrytown gas station.
Police charged Donald Gheen, 69, with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after several people reported a car accident in the Hess Gas Station parking lot around noon on Aug. 30.
Emergency responders found Gheen unresponsive at the accident scene and took him to the Westchester County Medical Center, where he consented to a blood test.

The DoubleTree Hotel reported a guest left without paying on Sept. 1 after spending 15 days at the hotel.
Police were called after three people got into a shoving match at the Asbury Terrance complex around 1 p.m. on Sept. 1. A woman who suffered a small scratch on her chin refused police action.
Tarrytown police charged Diego Fernando Calle, 18, with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, on Aug. 31.
