Scott Yandrasevich, 50, of Danbury, Conn., allegedly created a staffing company called RM Staffing for the purposes of billing the City of Rye for services provided to the Club.
Yandrasevich allegedly submitted false bi-weekly invoices on RM Staffing stationery listing individual(s) who were falsely described as working in “Administration,” “Restaurant” and/or “Operations” at the Club, when in fact no such person(s) worked for the Club, the district attorney said.
The fraudulent invoices were submitted for approximately four and a half years and totaled $342,120 in wages, the district attorney said. Yandrasevich then allegedly transferred the money back to himself, the DA said.
Yandrasevich was charged with one count of second-degree grand larceny and ten counts of first-degree falsifying business records. He faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
