Construction Worker Injured In Tappan Zee Bridge Spill

One man was injured on Thursday morning after taking a fall while working construction at the new Tappan Zee Bridge site.

Officials confirmed that at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, emergency crews rushed to the project’s location, where a worker fell less than 10 feet, but sustained injuries that required precautionary treatment.

According to police, the worker was treated at the scene by Tappan Zee Construction personnel. He was transported to Westchester Medical Center as a precaution after falling approximately five feet and suffering minor injuries to his hip and arm.
