TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after being hit by a bus on Route 119, Tarrytown police said.
The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 11. Police say the pedestrian, who was not identified, suffered a head injury and was taken by the Tarrytown Volunteer Ambulance Corps to the Westchester Medical Center for treatment.

- A White Plains Road resident reported her son's camouflage-colored bike had been stolen on Dec. 13.
- A Main Street resident reported someone had stolen $12,960 from her bank account using a fraudulent check on Dec. 10.
- Police received a call about suspicious people removing items from a house on Leroy Avenue around 3 p.m. on Dec. 10. Officers went to the house and found that a contractor was working on the house for the new owner, a Long Island resident.
