80-Year-Old Tarrytown Woman Dies After Struck On Route 119

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- An 80-year-old Tarrytown woman was killed Tuesday when she was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the intersection of Route 119 and Meadow Street, according to LoHud.com.

Bernadette Brennan was hit at approximately 5 p.m. and was taken to Westchester Medical Center where she died of her injuries, LoHud.com reported.

The driver of the vehicle was questioned by detectives and the incident remains under investigation, LoHud.com said.
