Sr. Teresita Fay, Rshm, 82, Of Tarrytown

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. - Sister Teresita Fay, RSHM, of Tarrytown died Oct. 24. She was 82.

Sr. Fay was born July 15, 1932, in New York, to Patrick and Anne Marie Donohue Fay, she entered the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary in Tarrytown in 1948. She was a member of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary for 64 years.

She taught in Portugal at high schools in Porto and Braga. She taught at St. Catharine of Alexandria, Brooklyn, Sacred Heart of Mary High School in Rolling Meadows, Ill., Marymount Manhattan College, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, Calif., and was superior of the religious community at Marymount School of New York. She spent more than 20 years in corporate worldwide training for Arthur Andersen and its multinational client base.

She was a member of the Board of Trustees of Marymount Manhattan College and Marymount School of New York and the Board of Directors of Columba Kavanagh House in Harlem.

Sr. Fay is survived by her sisters, Caroline McEnroe of Amenia, Agnes Redmond of Smithtown, Marion Fay of Great Neck; brother, John Fay of La Verne, Calif.; and members of her religious community.

Calling hours are Monday, Nov. 3 from 3 to 7:30 p.m., Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. Services will be held at Marymount Convent, 32 Warren Avenue, Tarrytown, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4. Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains.
