Roque Cuadrado, 76, Sleepy Hollow Waiter

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. – Roque Cuadrado of Sleepy Hollow died suddenly Sept. 24. He was 76. 

Cuadrado was a waiter at the Hilton Inn in Tarrytown for 25 years. 

Born May 7, 1936, in Spain, he was the son of Alberto Cuadrado Santin and Engracia Perez Vazquez. Cuadrado married Maria Garcia Gonzalez in Villafranca Del Bierzo, Spain on Nov. 30, 1957. The couple later moved to the United States and settled in North Tarrytown, now Sleepy Hollow.

He is survived by his wife; a sister, Josefa Cuadrado Perez, of Spain; a sister-in-law, Rosalia Armesto, of Briarcliff; a sister-in-law, Carmen Gonzalez, of Spain; a brother-in-law, Rafael Martinez, of Spain; three nephews and five nieces. 

Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Friday, at St. Teresa of Avila Church in Sleepy Hollow. Burial will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
