IRVINGTON, N.Y. – Richard A. Singer, a longtime resident of Irvington, died June 29. He was 65.
Singer was born May 19, 1950, in Tarrytown, to Paul and Antonia Neuwirth Singer.
He graduated from St. Theresa's School, Stepinac High School and Fairfield University, remaining active with Stepinac through involvement with their theater group.
Singer was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his brother Paul of Sleepy Hollow; niece Tara Platt and her husband Jason of Hopewell Junction; grandnephews Jakob and Lukas Platt; uncle Stephen Karac and many cousins.
Visiting hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Coffey Funeral Home, 91 North Broadway, Tarrytown.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 130 Beekman Ave, Sleepy Hollow, with interment to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
