TARRYTOWN, N.Y. - Richard C. Bates, Jr., a longtime Tarrytown resident, died Nov. 13. He was 69.
Bates was born in 1945.
Bates is survived by his wife, Joan (Johnson); children, Tracy Bates (Thomas Gallagher), Lori (Bryan) McAlary and Richard (Elena DeBellis); two grandchildren; and sister, Mildred Howell.
Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow in Kensico Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America.
