ELMSFORD, N.Y. – Renee A. Tacoma, a longtime Elmsford resident, died Oct. 15. She was 91.
Tacoma was born July 4, 1924, in Yonkers, to Salvatore and Rose Ciancuilli Frankolino, growing up in Tarrytown and North Tarrytown and graduating from North Tarrytown High School.
She worked for New York Telephone for more than 25 years, retiring as a supervisor.
Tacoma was predeceased by her parents, husband Vincent, brother Gerald Frankolino and sister Lucille Carpenter.
She is survived by daughters Linda Tacoma of Elmsford, Eileen Tacoma (Funigiello) of Elmsford, Denise Cookingham of Elmsford, and Annette Leo and her husband Stephen of Closter, N.J. six grandsons, one great-granddaughter and Joseph Funigiello.
Visiting hours will be from 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Coffey Funeral Home, 91 N. Broadway, Tarrytown.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Magdalene, 525 Bedford Road, Tarrytown.
Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
