OSSINING, N.Y. - Nancy J. McGovern, a longtime Ossining resident, died March 19. She was 61.
McGovern was born June 29, 1952, to John and Florence Bonadies Brown. She graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School and Pace University. She had been an accountant with Kraft General Foods in Tarrytown for many years.
McGovern is survived by her sons, Patrick (Patricia) of Bedford Hills and Joseph of Stamford, Conn.; sister, Lorie Federico of Nyack; brother, Ronald Brown of Mt. Vernon; aunts, uncles; and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph McGovern.
Calling hours are Sunday, March 23 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Coffey Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, March 24 at St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
