IRVINGTON, N.Y. Mary L. Russo of Irvington died Sept. 6. She was 86.
Russo was born Nov. 14, 1925, and worked on Wall Street in her twenties. She was a member of the Greenburgh Board of Elections for 30 years. In 2007, Russo was inducted into the Westchester County Office of Senior Services Hall of Fame.
A founding member of Friendship Star Quilters Club, she loved crafting and knitting with the seniors and served on their Senior Council and advisory board.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Anthony; two daughters, Cynthia, of Croton, and Dianne Moore, of Irvington; a brother, Carl Lauro; and a granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington. Coffey Funeral Home handled arrangements.
