Mary E. Ceccolini, 85, Of Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. – Mary E. Ceccolini, a longtime Ossining resident, died March 1. She was 85.

Ceccolini was born in Tarrytown on Feb. 22, 1930, to Bernard and Theresa Malone Cudney, and was raised in Pocantico Hills.

She graduated from Mount St. Vincent College, later receiving a master's degree from Manhattanville College. She was a teacher in the Ossining Public Schools for 24 years.

She married Vincent J. Ceccolini on Sept. 11, 1954, settling in Ossining.

She moved to Cortlandt Manor, eventually becoming a member of the Cortlandt Senior Citizens, having been a member of the Ossining Historical Society.

Ceccolini was predeceased by her husband, daughter, Susan, and siblings Carol, Patricia, Constance and Michael.

She is survived by her children Vincent and his wife Eloise of Stormville, Jane Collins and her husband Stephen of Hamilton, Mass., John and his partner Pawadee, and grandchildren Michael, Danielle, Brendan and Brianna.

Visiting hours will be at Coffey Funeral Home, 91 N. Broadway, Tarrytown, N.Y., on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m., and funeral Mass information is available at www.coffeyfuneralhome.com.
