TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Lillian Martins, a longtime Tarrytown resident, died on Monday, June 22. She was 84.
Martins was born in Costa do Valado, Aveiro, Portugal on June 18, 1931, to Carlos and Albina Martins Vidal
She worked for the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns for more than 22 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jose, and granddaughter Ashley Pullicino.
Martins is survived by her three children, Elaine Vachovetz and her husband, Ed of Danbury, Conn.; Laura Pullicino and her husband, Ken of Middlebury, Conn., and Charles and his wife, Debby of East Irvington; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson; sister Irene Vidal and her husband Tony; and brother-in-law Albert and his wife Charlotte of Briarcliff Manor.
Visiting hours will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at Transfiguration Church.
