TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Katherine Donohue of Tarrytown died Saturday, Oct. 20, in her sleep at her home. She was 90.
Donohue was born Sept. 12, 1922, in Binghamton, N.Y., to Arthur and Bertha Quick. She married Harold Patrick Donohue during World War II. She and her husband owned Donohue Auto Damage Appraisals, an insurance business in Tarrytown.
She was a member of the Transfiguration Women's Club and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. An avid sewer, she donated crafts to her church.
Donohue is survived by a daughter, Pegeen Brzezowski; two brothers, William and John Quick, both of Binghamton, N.Y.; a sister, Margaret Griffis of Binghamton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Don and Bob Quick; and two sisters, Dorothy Quick and Patsy Robertson.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Dwyer & Vanderbilt Funeral Home in Tarrytown. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown. Burial will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
