Joan Elizabeth McBride, 80, Formerly Of Sleepy Hollow

EUSTIS, Fla. - Joan Elizabeth McBride, of Eustis, and formerly of Sleepy Hollow, died June 25. She was 80.

McBride was born May 4, 1933, in Copake, N.Y. to Eugene and Evelyn Lawrence Baker. She lived in many areas of Westchester before retiring to Florida. She was a graduate of White Plains High School. She had worked for Brunschwig & Fils in Valhalla for many years.

McBride is survived by her children, Dona Roberts (Winston) Shaw of Longwood; James (Sarah) of Patterson, N.Y.; Randall (Debbie) of Pleasantville; Kevin (Chelsea) of Valencia, Calif.; Jeffrey (Lisa) of Lake Peekskill and Timothy L.(Susan) of Sleepy Hollow; 12 grandchildren; a great grandchild; brothers, Ansell (Pamela) and Bobby (Linda) Baker both of Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel McBride; sister, Linda; and brother Mike.

Calling hours are Friday, June 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29 at Union Church Pocantico Hills with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
