TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – James R. Kane, of Tarrytown, died at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital on Wednesday, April 15. He was 78.
Kane graduated from Fordham Preparatory School and Manhattan College, using his degree in electrical engineering to help develop the Atlantic Missile Range System. He eventually went into business for himself with a company focusing on business structure, consulting and sales.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; his children, James and his wife, Alexis; Mary Kathleen, John and his wife, Elizabeth; and three grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be Friday, April 17, from 5-8 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday. April 18, at 2 p.m. at Transfiguration Church.
