Gary L. Cooper, 62, Former General Motors Employee

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Gary L. Cooper, a lifelong Peekskill resident, died March 20. He was 62.

Cooper was born in Peekskill Dec. 23, 1950, to Agnes Mason Cooper. He worked for General Motors in Tarrytown for 25 years and, when they closed, he transferred to Linden, N.J., where he worked for seven years until retiring. He was a former member of the Hudson Valley Car Cruise.

Cooper is survived by: his wife, Deborah; children: Christopher (Sheena) Cooper, Michele Cooper (Michael) Riecke and Jennifer Cooper; six grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Christine) Cooper and Keith (Cindy) Bohler; sister, Beverly (Richard) Gordiner; three stepsisters; a stepbrother; many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 22 at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor
