Elizabeth Salerno, 90, Retired From General Motors In Tarrytown

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Elizabeth Salerno, a longtime Peekskill resident, died Oct. 12. She was 90.

Salerno worked on the assembly line at the General Motors plant in Tarrytown, until retiring.

Salerno is survived by her sisters, Mary Kluttz and Rita Mackey; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph H. Salerno; and son, Randy Salerno.

Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 17 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, where a funeral service will be offered at 11 a.m., followed by interment in the Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
