Chris DiLorenzo, 57, Of Pocantico Hills, Founder Pocantico Resources Inc.

POCANTICO HILLS, N.Y. - Chris DiLorenzo of Pocantico Hills died Dec. 25. He was 57.

DiLorenzo was born to Bess and Paul DiLorenzo and raised in Cranford, N.J. He made his home in Pocantico Hills. A graduate of Bucknell University, he was a professional in the food industry. In 2004, with his wife Ruth, he founded Pocantico Resources Inc., an ingredient supplier. He was a member on the boards of the Tarrytown YMCA and the Union Church of Pocantico Hills.

DiLorenzo is survived by his wife, Ruth Tedder; sons, Christopher and John DiLorenzo of Pocantico Hills; parents; brother, Chester (Rose) DiLorenzo; and two nieces.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Jan. 4 at the Union Church of Pocantico Hills, 555 Bedford Road, Sleepy Hollow NY 10591.

In lieu of flowers, donations in DiLorenzo’s memory may be made to the Pastoral Endowment for Union Church, Pocantico Hills NY or Calvary Hospital for Palliative Care, Bronx NY.
