Charles Annicchiarico, 90, Retired From The Village Of Sleepy Hollow

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. - Charles (Pepe) Annicchiarico, a longtime Sleepy Hollow resident,  died Dec. 17. He was 90.

Annicchiarico was born Sept. 7, 1924, in Dobbs Ferry, to Alfonso and Carmela Esposito Annicchiarico. He served in the United States Navy in both World War II and Korea. He retired after having worked for the Village of Sleepy Hollow for 17 years.

He was a member of Fire Patrol of the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department. He also served on the Sleepy Hollow  Ambulance Corps for over 40 years. He was a member of the Sleepy Hollow Seniors and the VFW Post 1939. He was the manager of the Irvington High School Football team for 55 years.

Annicchiarico is survived by his wife, Lorraine; sons, Charles A. of Tarrytown and Anthony M. of Greece; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Anthony; and sisters, Mary and Rose.

Calling hours are Sunday, Dec. 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22 at Immaculate Conception Church with interment with naval honors at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
