Born Feb. 23, 1923, in Tarrytown, to Concetta and Stanislau Mosiello, she was one of 13 children. She graduated from Washington Irving High School. On June 4, 1944, she married John Cavalieri of North Tarrytown, where they remained until moving to Pleasantville in 1960. They were married for 54 years.
She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Jo (Peppy) Baker of Scottsdale, Ariz., Rita Jackson of Fernandina Beach, Fla., Patricia Cavalieri of Tarrytown, Carol Arrucci (Ray) of Ossining, John Cavalieri (Anne Marie) of Holbrook and Joseph Cavalieri of New York City; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Viviano of Dania, Fla.; a brother- in-law, Angelo Cavalieri of Briarcliff Manor; and two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Anne Mosiello of Newport News, Va., and Gloria Cavalieri of Sleepy Hollow.
She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1998; a daughter, Catherine, in 2001; three brothers; and eight sisters.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Coffey Funeral Home, 91 N. Broadway, Tarrytown. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at Immaculate Conception Church in Sleepy Hollow. Burial will be at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
