Armando Di Biase, 90, Of Sleepy Hollow

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. – Armando G. Di Biase of Sleepy Hollow died Jan. 5. He was 90.

Born and raised in Mirabello, Italy, he was the son of Vincenzo and Carmella Di Biase. He served in the Italian Army during World War II. Di Biase later immigrated to the U.S. in 1954 with his wife, Angelina, and started a family.

He worked in construction throughout Westchester County for many years. He had a love for gardening and for his family.

Di Biase is survived by his wife; two sons, Vincent (Gail) and Armand (Cynthia); a daughter, Maria; two sisters, Adele and Elise; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home in Dobbs Ferry. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
