TARRYTOWN, N.Y. - Anthony P. Nichols Jr., a lifelong Tarrytown resident, died Nov. 12. He was 71.
Nichols was born March 7, 1942, in Tarrytown, to Anthony and Pearl Nichols. He was an associate member of Washington Engine Company # 2 of the Tarrytown Fire Department. He was a parishioner of Transfiguration Church.
Nichols is survived by his sister, Barbara Blair of Tarrytown; niece, Janet Torchia; nephews, Ronald Blair and David Blair; and several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard.
Calling hours are Sunday, Nov. 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18 at Transfiguration Church. Interment follows at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
