TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Longtime Tarrytown resident Agnes Martin died Tuesday, Jan. 5. She was 87.
Martin worked for many years as the secretary at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown. She was an active member of the Tarrytown Seniors, as well as the Transfiguration Seniors.
She is survived by her son Roger Martin Jr. of New Fairfield, Conn.; daughter Ellen Martin of Niskayuna; and grandchildren Kristin, Kelly, Katie and Christopher Martin.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roger Martin, and her parents, Charles and Helen Girvan Herrion.
Visitation hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown. A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 at Transfiguration Church. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
