TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – There's no reason to leave the Tarrytown area this weekend if you're looking for something to do. Here's a list of weekend events in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington.

Friday

- Warner Library presents “Cuentos y Canciones” at 10:30 a.m.

- The Stone Barns Center gives an Insider's Tour from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

- Irvington resident Robert K. Massie speaks about his book on Catherine the Great at the Main Street School at 7 p.m.

- The Piano Bar at Bistro Z at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown lasts from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. 

Saturday

- Warner Library offers GED help beginning at 10 a.m.

- The Sleepy Hollow High School's student government hosts a tag sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the gym.

- The Stone Barns Center gives an Insider's Tour from 11 a.m. to noon.

- Irvington residents plunge into the Hudson River to raise money for the Recreation Department at 12:30 p.m.

- The Hands-On Egg Collecting program takes place from 11 to 11:45 a.m. and noon to 12:45 p.m. at the Stone Barns Center.

- The Stone Barns Center gives a Winter Farm Tour from 1 to 2 p.m.

- Tarrytown resident and pianist Robert Rachlin will perform selections from the American Songbook at 2:30 p.m.

- Kids read to dogs in Warner Library's Good Dog program at 3 p.m.

- The Piano Bar at Bistro Z at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown lasts from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Sunday

- Artist Edgar Edelmann presents his artwork during a reception at Warner Library from 2 to 4 p.m.

- The Stone Barns Center will give an Insider's Tour from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

- The Hands-On Egg Collecting program takes place from 11 to 11:45 a.m. and noon to 12:45 p.m. at the Stone Barns Center.

- The Stone Barns Center gives a Winter Farm Tour from 1 to 2 p.m.

- Sergio Troncoso and Lloyd Rogler read from their work at the Hudson Valley Writers' Center at 4:30 p.m.

- Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo perform at the Tarrytown Music Hall at 8 p.m.
