TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Schools and municipalities will close their offices Monday in observance of Veterans' Day. The following is a list of closures for Tarrytown and Irvington and Sleepy Hollow, as well as information on Veterans' Day ceremonies.
Tarrytown
Tarrytown Village Hall will be closed, and the village will not be picking up trash Friday.
The Tarrytown Post Office will be closed.
Warner Library also will be closed Friday.
The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns, Hackley School and Transfiguration School will not hold classes.
Irvington
Irvington will host its own Veterans' Day ceremony at 10:45 a.m. at the war memorials on Main Street.
Irvington Village Hall will be closed and the village will not be picking up trash Friday.
The Irvington Post Office will be closed.
The Irvington Public Library will be open Friday.
The Irvington Free Union School District will not have classes Friday.
Sleepy Hollow
Sleepy Hollow Village Hall will be closed and the village will not be picking up trash Friday.
The Sleepy Hollow Post Office will be closed.
Warner Library will be closed.
The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns and the Pocantico Hills Central School District will not have classes.
