What's Closed Monday In Tarrytown For Presidents Day

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Several offices and schools in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington will be closed Monday in observance of President's Day.

The Metro-North Railroad will operate on a Saturday schedule, with no service on the Hudson Rail Link, the Newburgh-Beacon Ferry and the Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry.

Tarrytown

  • Tarrytown Village Hall and its offices will be closed. There will be no garbage pickup.
  • The Tarrytown Post Office will be closed.
  • Warner Library will be closed.
  • The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns will begin Winter Recess. Classes resume Feb. 25.
  • The Transfiguration School will begin Winter Recess. Classes resume Feb. 25.
  • The Hackley School will be closed. Classes resume Tuesday.

Sleepy Hollow

  • Sleepy Hollow Village Hall and its offices will be closed. There will be no garbage pickup. Sleepy Hollow will pick up garbage on all routes Tuesday.
  • The Sleepy Hollow Post Office will be closed.
  • Warner Library will be closed.
  • The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns will begin Winter Recess. Classes resume Feb. 25.
  • The Pocantico Hills Central School District will begin Winter Recess. Classes resume Feb. 25.

Irvington

  • Irvington Village Hall and its offices will be closed. There will be no garbage pickup.
  • The Irvington and Ardsley-on-Hudson post offices will be closed.
  • The Irvington Public Library will be closed.
  • The Irvington Union Free School District will begin Winter Recess. Classes resume Wednesday.
