What would you do with $900 million?

The odds of winning Saturday night's $900 million Powerball jackpot might be 1 in 292 million, but that hasn't stopped people in Westchester and Putnam counties from buying up tickets in hopes of winning the big prize.

Westchester Tobacco and Stationery, on Main Street in Ossining, said it had a steady stream of customers buying Powerball tickets on Friday.

"Everyone wants a piece of the action," owner Tracy Salciccia, a Cortlandt resident, said.

Salciccia, who plays the Powerball with groups, said she expects Saturday to be very busy. She said she hopes a lot of people split the big jackpot.

"To have so many winners would help boost our economy," Salciccia said.

The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. Saturday night. How would you spend your prize winnings? Let us know in the comments.

Port Chester resident Suzanne Rothberg played the $500 million jackpot on Wednesday that did not produce a winner. She purchases her tickets at the Port Chester Stop-n-Shop where she said she hasn't seen lines so far.

"If I won, I would renovate the bathroom in my apartment, buy video equipment and go on vacation," Rothberg said.

Bedford resident Bea Rhodes bought $4 in tickets for the Powerball lottery, though she admits she is not expecting to win, though she has a huge list if the numbers go her way.

"Providing best care available for my mom, buying a homes for me and other family members, creating a safe haven for elderly and abused animals, and the list goes on," Rhodes said.
