TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Robert Glazer, CEO of ENT and Allergy Associates, will be presented with the Leadership Honor Award by the Westchester County Association at its 2014 Fall Leadership Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 20.
The WCA is the pre-eminent business membership organization in Westchester County. This honor follows on the heels on Glazer's most recent accolade, the 2014 Health Hero of the Year award bestowed upon him earlier this year by the Westchester Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America. At ENTA, Glazer is responsible for the overall practice operation and focuses his attention on physician recruitment, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning.
He is also an ad hoc member of all board committees and reports directly to the president of the group. Glazer joined ENT and Allergy Associates in December 1997 and has more than 35 years of health care administrative experience in finance and operations, information technology, managed care contracting, mergers and acquisitions, physician recruitment and health care marketing.
He has served as president of the Association of Otolaryngology Administrators and has participated on committees of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a board member of the Westchester County Association and is an adjunct professor at Pace University Graduate Program for Public Administration. “I feel deeply privileged and extremely proud to receive this honor from such an important and vital organization,” Glazer said. “The WCA does so much to help raise awareness for Westchester County, and we, as a practice, are extremely gratified to be a part of their efforts.”
The annual Fall Leadership Dinner will take place on Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown beginning at 5:30 p.m. for cocktail hour and concluding at 9:30 p.m.
