Villages, Schools Close For Upcoming Holidays

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Several village offices and schools in Tarrytown and Irvington will be closed in observance of the upcoming Christmas and New Year's Day holidays.

The following is a list of holiday closures in both villages:

Tarrytown

Tarrytown Village Hall will be closed Friday and Monday.

Warner Library will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

There will be no garbage pickup on Friday and Monday in Tarrytown. Garbage pickup will resume on the next scheduled day.

Irvington

The Irvington Public Library will be closed Friday and Monday.

Irvington Village Hall will be closed Monday.

There will be no garbage pickup on Monday in Irvington.

School Closures

Public Schools of the Tarrytowns: Students will not have classes for the week of December 26. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 3.

Irvington Union Free School District: Classes will be dismissed early on Friday. Students will not have classes for the week of December 26. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 3.

Transfiguration School: Students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. on Friday. Students will not have classes for the week of December 26. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 3.

Hackley School: Students' holidays started on December 19. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 3.
