The band has been performing U2 songs since the 1990s.

"This is the first time we're playing in Irvington," said George Levesanos, the founder of the band who portrays drummer Larry Mullen, Jr. "We're really excited."

Unforgettable Fire expects to play U2 classics like "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "One" and "Where The Streets Have No Name."

"We gotta stick to what people are familiar with and what they know," Levesanos said. "We're not going to be playing B-sides."

Levesanos said when they perform at clubs, they really enjoy mining U2's catalog.

Like U2, Unforgettable Fire formed while the band was in school. While the band has changed members throughout the years, Levesanos said the current incarnation is the best the band has been.

"We finally found the right set of guys," Levesanos sad. "We're still playing. It's a great situation."

Levesanos said he has always been a fan of U2 and the band was formed out of their love for the band. As U2 has grown in popularity, the band has grown in popularity, selling out BB King's in Manhattan.

"We will keep doing it as long as we keep getting that reaction," Levesanos said.

Levesanos said his bass player looks like Adam Clayton while his guitarist is able to capture The Edge's riffs. His lead singer is a dead ringer for Bono. He thinks U2 has staying power because its songs have meanings.

"Their songs bring you back to certain situations in your life," Levesanos said. "They have helped people out in tough situations."

Levesanos said he loves playing the classics like "Bad" and "Without or Without You."

"They turn a bad gig into a good gig and a great gig into an epic gig," Levesanos said. "You will never see the same set every show. Sometimes our lead singer we'll just shout out a song. It's chaos."
