Thornwood Couple Return Lost Wedding Gift To Newlyweds

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- A Thornwood couple have left a new bride in awe after they used some solid sleuthing methods to return a gift of several hundred dollars lost during her wedding, according to lohud.com.

Peter Palushaj and his family were driving toward the Tappan Zee Bridge on Route 119 on Oct. 11 when he stopped at a traffic light and noticed the envelope on the side of the road, according to the report.

There were names on the outside of the envelope, "Mr. and Mrs. Goldstein." Inside were 10 $20 bills, the report said.

After several weeks and about a half-dozen Facebook messages, Palushaj was able to connect with Teresa Goldstein recently. His wife, Liza, later returned the wedding gift, according to the report.
