This Week in Tarrytown, Irvington Meetings

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — The Village of Tarrytown has a public information meeting and two public hearings scheduled for Monday night, in addition to their regular board meeting at 8 p.m. at Village Hall.

Trustees will conduct a public information meeting on the village’s plan for the Mason’s Lot. The South Washington Street lot will be turned into a parking lot.

The board will also conduct a public hearing on making changes to the village code involving recycling. The complete text of the code legislation is available on Tarrytown’s website.

Another public hearing will be conducted on permit parking for commercial vehicles.

The regular board meeting has several items of note as well, including a state environmental quality review for the Mason’s Lot, the village’s agreement with Westchester County regarding prisoner transportation, the appointment of a marriage officer and amendments to the procurement police and the master fee schedule for commercial vehicle permit fees.

The Architectural Review Board will meet on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in Village Hall. The meeting’s agenda can be found on Tarrytown’s website.

Irvington Meetings This Week:

The Irvington Board of Trustees will meet Monday night at 7 p.m. in Village Hall. Items of note include discussion about creating a historic district, the capital budget, 2011-12 budget transfers and 2011-12 priorities.
