TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – There's no reason to leave the Tarrytown area this weekend if you're looking for something to do. Here's a list of weekend events in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington.

Friday

- Warner Library presents “Cuentos y Canciones” at 10:30 a.m.

- Edith Glass will lead a memoir writing class at Warner Library at 11 a.m.

- The Stone Barns Center gives an Insider's Tour from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

- The Hudson Valley Writers' Center and its Slapering Hol Press present a reading featuring Gretl Glagget and Vijay Seshadri at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5.

- The Piano Bar at Bistro Z at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown lasts from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. 

Saturday

- Warner Library offers GED help beginning at 10 a.m.

- The Stone Barns Center gives an Insider's Tour from 11 a.m. to noon.

- The Irvington Public Library and Billy Bones partner together to teach kids how to be pirates at 11 a.m.

- D&D Talent and the International Model and Talent Association will host open-call auditions for model and talent at the Westchester Marriott beginning at 11 a.m.

- The Hands-On Egg Collecting program takes place from 11 to 11:45 a.m. and noon to 12:45 p.m. at the Stone Barns Center.

- The Stone Barns Center gives a Winter Farm Tour from 1 to 2 p.m.

- Learn the basics of email at Warner Library at 2:30 p.m.

- John Pinette performs at the Tarrytown Music Hall at 8 p.m.

Sunday
