TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — There's no reason to leave the Tarrytown area this weekend if you're looking for something to do. Here's a list of weekend events in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington.

Friday

“Once Upon a Time: The Stories of the Brothers Grimm and Washington Irving” at the Irvington Historical Society. 1 p.m.

Scarecrow making at Patriot's Park: 10:30 a.m.

2011 Eco-Fair at Patriot's Park. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tarrytown's annual Eco-Fair will be held this weekend on Saturday, October 15th, at Patriot's Park in the village. As in past years, it will feature vendors who will demonstrate sustainable products and services, as well as exhibits from the Sleepy Hollow High School, Washington Irving School, and Sleepy Hollow Middle School Environmental Action Club.

Tarrytown Farmers Market at Patriot's Park. 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tarrytown Farmers Market in Patriot's Park every Saturday through Thanksgiving draws together farmers and artisan foods producers from around New York State, selling fresh fruit and produce, chicken, eggs, cheese, baked goods and more. The market also features live music, children's activities, plus representatives from a multitude of community groups. It's the place to shop, meet up with your neighbors and find out what's going on in the village.
