TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — There's no reason to leave the Tarrytown area this weekend if you're looking for something to do. Here's a list of weekend events in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington.

Friday

Party On the Porch Fundraiser at The Historical Society, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Farmers Market: Stone Barns Center's produce, meat and eggs will be on sale from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 630 Bedford Rd., Pocantico Hills.

“House of Dark Shadows” at the Tarrytown Music Hall, 7 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery Historic Fund.

Peter Yarrow and folk quartet Work of the Weavers at the Irvington Town Hall Theater, 8 p.m.

Civil War 150th Anniversary Exhibit at the Sleepy Hollow-Tarrytown Historical Society. 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jacob Odell House at 1 Grove St. in Tarrytown.

Piano Bar at Bistro Z at the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown. 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday

Tarrytown Farmers Market at Patriot's Park. 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tarrytown Farmers Market in Patriot's Park every Saturday through Thanksgiving draws together farmers and artisan foods producers from around New York State, selling fresh fruit and produce, chicken, eggs, cheese, baked goods and more. The market also features live music, children's activities, plus representatives from a multitude of community groups. It's the place to shop, meet up with your neighbors and find out what's going on in the village.
