TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — There's no reason to leave the Tarrytown area this weekend if you're looking for something to do. Here's a list of weekend events in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington.

Friday

Tarrytown Third Friday: Main St. in Tarrytown. Begins 5 p.m. Arts & Crafts & Bond. For a full listing of events, click here.

Farmer's Market: Stone Barns Center's produce, meat and eggs will be on sale from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills.

Bobby of the Teenmates at the Black Cat Cafe in Irvington. 6 to 8 p.m.

Civil War 150th Anniversary Exhibit at the Sleepy Hollow-Tarrytown Historical Society. 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jacob Odell House at 1 Grove Street in Tarrytown.

Piano Bar at Bistro Z at the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown. 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday

Writing the College Essay: Part one of a two-part workshop for high school juniors and seniors at the Warner Library at 10:30 a.m.

Kayaking: Rent a kayak between noon and 5 p.m. on the Tarrytown Lakes Saturdays and Sundays. Instruction available 9 a.m. to noon by appointment. Call 682-5135 or visit www.KayakHudson.com.

A Song For All Seasons Concert at Warner Library: Two sopranos and a string quartet will perform at 2:30 p.m.

Tarrytown Farmer's Market at Patriot's Park. 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tarrytown Farmer's Market in Patriot's Park every Saturday through Thanksgiving draws together farmers and artisan foods producers from around New York State, selling fresh fruit and produce, chicken, eggs, cheese, baked goods and more. The market also features live music, children's activities, plus representatives from a multitude of community groups. It's the place to shop, meet up with your neighbors and find out what's going on in the village.

Conan O'Brian Can't Stop at the Irvington Town Hall Theater at 8 p.m. There will be an afterparty at Il Sorriso in Irvington.

Led Zeppelin Experience at the Tarrytown Music Hall. Hammer of the Gods will recreate the story and music of this great rock band at 8 p.m. at the Tarrytown Music Hall.

First Annual Mutt Strut at the Jewish Community Center: Fun for dogs and their families. 1:30 p.m.

Gandalf Murphy & The Slambovian Circus of Dreams at the Irvington Town Hall Theaters at 7 p.m.

The Zombies at the Tarrytown Music Hall. Featuring special guests Acoustic Strawbs. 7 p.m.
