TARRYTOWN, N.Y. --If you are looking for something to do this weekend why travel someplace else? There is plenty happening in the Tarrytown area for people of all ages!

Friday

Tarrytown Third Friday, 5 to 9 p.m. Main Street in Tarrytown. Come out for beach fun and a summer fashion show! Find more information here .

Young Artists Exhibit 2011, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Warner Library. Come watch the second Young Artists Exhibit. On the library’s front lawn, artists will be personally showcasing their visual artwork which includes Cartooning, Graphic Design, Photography, Manga, Hand-made Crafts, etc.

Abstract Collage paintings by Donald Fortenberry on exhibit in the Martucci Gallery at the Irvington Public Library. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Civil War 150th Anniversary Exhibit at the Sleepy Hollow-Tarrytown Historical Society. 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jacob Odell House at 1 Grove Street.

Tarrytown Farmers Market at Patriot’s Park. 8:30 to 1 p.m. Tarrytown Farmers market in Patriot's Park every Saturday through Thanksgiving draws together farmers and artisan foods producers from around New York state, selling fresh fruit and produce, chicken, eggs, cheese, baked goods and more. The market also features live music, children's activities, represenatatives from a multitude of community groups. It's the place to shop, meet up with your neighbors and find out what's going on in the village.

Summer Nights with Ingmar Bergman at the Tarrytown Music Hall: Summer With Monika. 7 p.m. The sensual side of Bergman’s filmmaking was never more evident than in Summer with Monika, his film about two Stockholm teenagers who fall in love and run away one summer to a remote island. The film’s brief nudity was scandalous at the time. Harriet Andersson’s bold, direct performance keeps the film as fresh as ever.

Sunday

Seven Sundays at the Old Dutch Church. 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.  A celebration of eclectic music in worship at the legendary Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow.  Includes musical oheater, Uilleann Pipe, Latin guitar, Opera, Renaissance Choral, woodwind quintet, and an a cappella choir.
