Mexican director/writer/producer Alfonso Cuaron, best known for "Y Tu Mamá También", "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban", "Children of Men" (2006), and most recently "Gravity", is behind the fantasy adventure series that is due to be broadcast early in 2014 on NBC television.
"Believe" is about a young girl, Bo (Johnny Sequoyah), with supernatural powers and her connection to a wrongfully convicted (and recently released) death-row inmate Tate, played by Jake McLaughlin), who is employed to protect her.
