She was honored during an awards ceremony and party on her behalf at the DoubleTree where she was presented with a cash prize of $10,000.

Reeves, who has been with the DoubleTree since 2007, was nominated by her colleagues and selected from more than 2,000 nominations by a committee of team members from across the company.

The CEO Light & Warmth Award was established to recognize exceptional team members who embody Hilton Worldwide's values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork and ownership.

At the awards ceremony to congratulate her were members of Hilton Hotels & Resorts as well as elected officials and representatives including Thomasina Laidely-Brown, chair of the Ossining Democratic Party on behalf of New York State Sen. David Carlucci; Eileen Mildenberger, senior adviser to Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino; Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner and Tarrytown Village Trustee Becky McGovern, who presented Reeves with proclamations.

Hilton Tarrytown’s General Manager Rich Friedman noted that Reeves has been an exceptional team member ever since she joined the DoubleTree when it opened eight years ago.

Last year, Reeves won Hilton Worldwide’s prestigious Spirit of Care Award as a top performer with the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotels. Less than one percent of DoubleTree by Hilton team members nationwide receives this honor each year.

”Employees like Reeves create a welcoming and exceptional experience for guests which impacts other team members and creates a domino effect of great service,” Friedman said. “It comes as no surprise that she has won Hilton Worldwide’s highest honor because we are constantly receiving letters and e-mails from clients and guests about her amazing customer service and genuine concern for people."
