Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Irvington Celebrate Fourth of July

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington will celebrate the Fourth of July this holiday weekend.

Fourth of July Fireworks are planned in each village for Thursday night.

Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow residents can enjoy the annual joint fireworks show for the Fourth of July at dusk at the RiverWalk Park, Horan's Landing and Kingsland Point Park. Fireworks will also be visible along the river from Irvington and Nyack.

Irvington residents can enjoy family fun, entertainment, music and food beginning at 5 p.m. at Matthiessen Park. The village will also honor its champion girls' basketball teams. Fireworks will begin after dusk.

What's Closed:

Sleepy Hollow Village Hall will be closed on Thursday. DPW will pick up all trash on all routes on Friday.

Tarrytown Village Hall will be closed on Thursday and Friday. DPW will not collect trash on those days and resume regular pick-up on Monday.

Irvington Village Hall will be closed Thursday. DPW will not pick up trash on that day.

Warner Library and the Irvington Public Library will be closed Friday.

All post offices will be closed Thursday.
