TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Environmental advisory groups from Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow joined forces on Saturday for the Stay Warm, Save Money family energy fair at John Paulding School.
Fair attendees learned about leaf mulching as well as how to lower their electricity and heating bills. The Sleepy Hollow Middle School's Environmental Action Club continued campaigning for the disuse of plastic shopping bags.
Tarrytown's Flying Fingers shop demonstrated how to knit while Jilly Puppets performed a green-themed show. Kids also got to see a pedal-a-watt bicycle.
