Tarrytown Police Report Drug, Alcohol Charges

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Tarrytown police have charged eight people with drug and alcohol-related crimes recently.

Four people were arrested and charged on drug-related crimes on Sheldon Avenue near the Elizabeth Mascia Child Care Center. Michael S. Grant, 24, and Andre Z. Riley, 30, were charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance near a child day care facility, a felony, and third and fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors, when police said they found them around 6:30 p.m. on March 7 near Lincoln Avenue.

Two others were charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Police did not release their names.

Another man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, on Wildey Street around 5 p.m. on March 6.

Three men were charged with drug and alcohol violations on Green Street around 10:30 p.m. on March 2: one man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. The other two men were charged with open container violations.
