Tarrytown Hosts Boater Safety Forum

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- The Hudson River Boat & Yacht Club Association and Hudson Valley Marine Trades Association will host a Hudson River roundtable discussion on boater safety at Tarrytown Village Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.

The discussion will center around the new Tappan Zee Bridge construction and what boaters will face as the project progresses.

Boaters and first responders are invited to attend to listen and provide input.

State Assembly members who represent communities on both sides of the Hudson will also be on hand for the discussion.

Assembly members will include, Tom Abinanti (Tarrytown), Sandy Galef (Ossining), Ellen Jaffee (Pearl River), Shelley Mayer (Yonkers), Gary Pretlow (Mount Vernon), James Skoufis (Chester) and Ken Zebrowski (New City).

Tarrytown Village Hall is located at One Depot Plaza.
