"Very worried that the new storm affects more people and those of us in small outage areas will get pushed down the list," she wrote on The Tarrytown Daily Voice's Facebook page.
Residents in Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and Irvington are already preparing for a potentially-damaging Nor'easter that meteorologists say will bring wind gusts, rain, sleet and snow to the area.
The Nor'easter's outer bands began hitting the area around 1 p.m. The bulk of the storm is expected to hit Wednesday afternoon and early Thursday.
Several events in the area have already been canceled because of the storm.
The Irvington Union Free School District canceled all afternoon and evening activities on Wednesday ahead of the storm.
The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns has also canceled its afterschool programs and postponed a parent informational meeting about the eighth grade Washington, D.C. trip.
The Irvington Town Hall Theater's planned screening of "Side by Side" has been canceled. Ticketholders may use their tickets at any upcoming movie at the theater.
The Irvington Parks and Recreation Department canceled its extended hours for Wednesday night and said it would close at 5 p.m.
Irvington Mayor Brian Smith said officials were concerned about the storm's effect on power restoration after Hurricane Sandy.
"We realize that we are on the clock versus the impending storm," he said.
