Howard J. Mickens, 39, who lives in a White Plains shelter for the homeless, was reportedly stating that people were trying to kill him when he appeared before White Plains City Court Judge Eric Press, who ordered a psychiatric evaluation in the attempted murder case, LoHud reported.
Mickens was repeatedly asked to quiet down by his legal aid lawyer and the judge, but refused to comply. The case was adjourned until Oct. 25 and is expected to be moved to County Court, according to LoHud.com.
